Hey girlies, i just submitted my application for the teaching fellows program....i really hope i get in and i could use a lot of positive thoughts....please cross your fingers for me girls, i have been contemplating teaching for a while now only because i have a full time job and i cant quit and not know i have a set job ya no....especially with the wedding coming up and all....then i brushed upon the teaching fellows program and they need math teachers really bad, so that is the program i applied to...but i just really hope i get in....i think it would be a great future especially after me and fh are married especially when we have children..anyways sorry for going on and on...please pray for me girls...i really believe in good thoughts and the power they could have.....ahhh im so nervous and excited

My school is good and I know we need a teacher (or 3) next year.....plus a lot of fellows do their student teaching at our school. Once you get in do your spring visit with me.

omg i would love to....i know that the site says they give you a district and then you have to find a school within that district, im just really hoping i get the district i live in that would be so great....ok im thinking way ahead lol....i didnt even get the interview yet lol let alone accepted....ugghhhh im going to go crazyyyyyy

When you do your interview just interact with the other candidates, don't be shy. And be prepared for off the wall questions!

ozone park....district 27 i believe.....yeah thats the problem i learned in pre cana.....i get so nervous talking in front of people i sound like the guy who talks at the auctions lol

yeah i dont know what it is i get so nervous....thast what i worry about because then i ramble lol....im going to rty and see if i can teach jhs but if not then i guess hs lol but i feel liek im so tiny that the security guards will send me to detention lol

There is another St John's fellow at MS 137, and he loves it. Once you're ready I'll call him. He's good people, salt of the Earth from the midwest. Plus he's like 6 foot 4 so he'll protect you!

hahahahah.....im really hoping that since im going for the math they will take me since they are in such need for math teachers.....im so pissed...when i went to college i was in the time 2000 program full scholarship and everything but i hated everyone in the program and the program itself so i dropped it a majored in dance...then about 2 years ago my MOH's mom asked me to help her youngest daughter because she was having such trouble in math (she was 9) and ever since then i have been wanting to teach again....i just like seeing how happy she gets when she figures out a problem or passes a test or is so confident that she knows she can pass....i just love it, im such a loser lol
