Re: NOVEMBER brides

You may have already seen them but under 'Theme Weddings', they have a topic for Fall Theme. There are a lot of CP's and bo-k's there. That is where I'm getting some of my ideas from.

Re: NOVEMBER brides

I don't have pics yet but my boquet will be off while hydrangea with roses, I think the florist said they're Vendela roses or something like that...have to look at my contrac to be sure. My centerpieces will be green hydrangeas with some roses and another flower he showed me...oh and they'll be low and in a gold bowl.

Re: NOVEMBER brides

My centerpieces will be red and champagne roses with light pink hydrangea.

These will be my flowers... and the background flowers will be my BM's flowers:

Who is your florist? Several florists told me green hydrangeas are out of season in Nov. and may be very hard to get then....I want that bok too! So gorgeous! My florist said instead of the green hydrangea we could use snowball verbenum (sp?).

My centerpieces are going to be square glass vases with curly willow in the base (looks like brances all wound up) with black magic and circus roses with red berries.

Re: NOVEMBER brides

WOW - lots of you November brides are using hydrangeas....I was told by 3 different florists that hydrangeas are out of season in the fall and therefore would be VERY expensive and that I'd have to give them a 2nd choice b/c they may not even be able to get them in.....

Re: NOVEMBER brides

As you can see from my post above, I had lots of hydrenga's incorporated into my flowers, they were very rustic like in color. Even the mom's and the grandmother's corsages were hydrenga's. Everyone is still raving at how beautiful the flowers were.

But do you know if they were out of season and difficult/more $ for your florist to get a hold of them??? Thanks...I'll have to talk to my florist about this. I wanted those dark green ones!

Actually, it was my florist that suggested them. I don't know about more expensive or not, because they gave us a flat price for everything and it didn't matter the types of flowers I wanted.

Re: NOVEMBER brides

Hey there --I was specifically told that hydrangeas are year round and therefore not expensive. I'm getting the green ones too :)

FYI to all--MANY florists also SPRAY PAINT hydrangeas to get them the color requested.

Thanks for the info, Heather!
That is good to hear about the hydrangeas!!! I wanted to green ones...I can't believe 3 diff. florists told me they are out of season - I need to call mine up to make sure I can get them!
FYI though - I was told to NOT have any flowers spray painted b/c the spray paint can run onto your dress which you obv. don't want! So I'm gonna stay away from that!
