we are doing the brooklyn bridge and DUMBO

I dont mind wearing the boots i just need to find a cute top... have nice skinny jeans that I will wear...Im little so big jackets look funny on me!

I think I am doing mine in NOvem also.. early NOv. But I am ignoring the weather and changing outfits a few times( I wanted to do mine sooner but btw the photog and myself, we have been so busy) so I am just pretending it is warmer than it is... what about a long sleeve plain shirt with a scarf... but not a thick scarf... one of those light, summer scarves? You could even change your outfit to do both boots and a heel.... what do you think?

Maybe a sweater coat.......I was just shopping last week and they are everywhere.....then its the best of both worlds. a fun sweater and a coat.

A little advice about wearing heels in DUMBO...

there are alot of cobblestone streets and it was hard walking in heels around there. I would wear another pair of shoes, like your Uggs, so that you can walk around. I wore heels and I was so slow walking around ha ha.

good point! I am going to wear boots though and they won't be crazy high so I think i might be ok ..but it is def something to think about!!

I would try layering differnt textured fabrics. Nice sweaters, blazer. Uggs could be nice if dresses up with a skirt and opaque tights!

Ohhh Im loving this idea too..I told FH i wanted to wear my uggs before..he said he wants us to look a little more dressy ya know? SO im gonna go with Skinny jeans and heels but i have to come up with a top idea....im gonna go look for layers lol...kristina any pics would be awesome! lol

all great ideas..i love the idea of a sweater dress, leggins and uggs! So cute and much more me...now i have to look for a sweater dress and leggings that won't stick together lol!

Yea I did skinny jeans and heels with a black short sleeved jacket thingy from Forever 21. I have pics in my album.

With the skinny jeans you can always wear Uggs and switch to heels that would look really cute. I like the sweater coat idea or a blazer with a scarf

When that happens to me I wear a slip if the dress is long enough.
