November invites

When do I need to order invitations??? I need to send them out in the end of august, beginning of september.

I think they say about 6 months in advance for invitations. We are going to start looking soon and plan on ordering them no LATER than May... quite possibly before then if we find something... Hope this helps!

I am a few weeks before you, and we are starting to look at invitations now. We hope to order by April.

I am also getting married in Nov and am ordering my invitations next month. I figure if I found the ones I like I should order them and just cross one more thing off my list. I started looking in Jan and found them pretty quickly if you need a place send me mail.

My wedding is October 1st and I was told I should order them by April 1st.

As long as you have all the details down (date/locations) I don't think it is ever too early to get things done. Like mentioned, it is just one thing to cross off the to-do list.

Just make sure you keep them in a clean, safe place...don't want to hand out dusty invites...(I know i have minimialized cleaning w/ wedding planning!!! )
