I got married in February and I had one. It was cold out but I really didn't need it. It just looked really pretty.

no. I looked up the avg. temps for 11/6 and it said mid 50's. that's really not cold, IMO.

besides, I will be so nervous anyway, I'll probably be sweating.

hehehe...sounds like me!! I do have a wrap for my dress, but only because I'm having a very religious jewish ceremony and my shoulders need to be covered. But that's just for the ceremony (which will be indoors anyway)

I thought about it too, but like you all said, I think I'll be so hyped up, I will be sweating! My dress came with a shawl... not that it will keep me warm, it's mainly for looks.

I bought a faux fur capelet that i might wear if it gets cold. I spent less than $25 on it, so if I don't wear it, it's no biggie.

My dress has long lace sleeves, so it isn't a problem.

i want to get a white pashmina or cashmere shawl, something i would use after the wedding.

I'm thinking of getting the same thing. I hear you can even rent them....I have to try and get more info on them.

I bought a long cape from Davids. The reason being that we looked at our reception hall, North Ritz, and there are nice outside places for pics. Since i am getting married 12/30, I determined it was worth the 100.00

Mine comes with a shawl so I am not concerned.
