My fiance and I have been talking about switching our date and moving our wedding up a year.. So I may be a 2011 bride but just curious to see who is getting married on this day and what hall your booked at =)

I've been thinking the same thing!!! I actually wanted to surpise everyone and get married at my e party but FH shot me down on that one! with all the drama I don't know if I can make it through another 655 days lol!
Will you stay with CLM? or change venues?

If I move the date I'm definetly staying with CLM, which is why I was curious to see if anyone on here was already booked that day!
ETA: I'm just getting impatient.. over 2 years to still wait is a little crazy!!

You should just call your rh and see if they are even booked that day. That would make this decision easier...

We are 11-19-11. Originally we were dead set on 11-5-11 since November 5th is our dating anniversary and it finally was falling on a Saturday, but the venue we were also DEAD SET on didn't have it available! Mid-late November is such a nice time though, so we were happy. We are getting married at Queens County Farm Museum.
I say move it up if you feel like you need to. More time is always better than feeling rushed!

Oh, woops. I didn't realize you were moving it to earlier....I thought you were postponing! I definitely couldn't wait until 2012. I already feel like November 2011 is an eternity away!

If you don't need the time financially i say go for it!! I whined to FH how I wanted June 2010 and look how fast it waas gone! It would have been over and we wouldn have been stressed and probably wouldn't have had everything venue, venodrs that we wanted etc. So I am actually glad FH was smart giving ourselves the extra year..if you can do it go for it!! how long will your engagement be when you get married? ours will be 2 1/2 years I can't believe it..lol

if we get married in 2012, we will be engaged 3 years and 1 month. the reason we had pushed it to 2012 was because FH's sister is getting married in 2011.
ETA: at first his sister wasnt happy about it because she wanted 'her year' but since her wedding is in the beginning of 2011, and ours will be at the end of 2011, she is ok with it now.
