Hey Ladies,
How much have you gotten done? What do you have left to do?
Here are a few things I have done and still need to do

Done:
Booked all major vendors
invitations
calligraphy on envelopes
purchased stamps
Booked RD
hair and makeup trials booked
ordered BM's dresses
purchases cake serving set
BP gifts
Pre-cana
my wedding day jewelry

There is more but i probably cant remember

Still need to get done:
shoes
pick ceremony music for church
parents gifts
programs
tear packets
table cards
place cards
Dancing lessons

You are in really good shape! You've got more done than I do.

Done:
-Booked all major vendors (with the exception of limo's..we are still debating getting them)
-my dress
-invitations
-placecards
-booked hair & makeup and had trials
-BP gifts (for my girls, FH still has no idea what to get the guys!)
-Ceremony music
-purchased frames for table numbers, but still need to spray paint the correct color.

To Do:
Way too freakin much!

I think thats it until I think of something else later!! Just when I think I'm done I think of a million other things I have to do!! If I can ever be of any help, let me know!

My wedding is the 24th of November ..people are telling me Im supposed to go for my 1st fitting now is this true?

I think it's too early - my first fitting will be in Sept.

Being that I've been engaged since Oct. 2005 I have a lot done, things that need to be done are basically all DIY projects.

Need to do:

4. order M&M's for favors
5. order candy dishes for favors
6. DIY CD Favors
7. Dress fittings
8. BM dress fittings
9. Buy stamps
10. Get GM gifts
11. Pick up veil & headpiece

13. Make OOT boxes
14. Make place cards

Just an FYI, most halls will provide the blank placecards .... but you still have to fill them in yourself

RD (although FILs are doing this, so it probably won't be done until Halloween)

set up Church rehearsal (I've been waiting for the deacon to call me since MARCH - I just keep leaving messages. ) - choose music. Readings and readers are finalized.

parent gifts - my parents will be easy - I'll probably go with b'way tickets and a dinner GC....but his are impossible. Just looking to get them a little something, and I have no idea what. Maybe just a photobook after the wedding?

groom gift - I want to buy him a watch, but I may make that his birthday present instead (bday is 1 month before the wedding)

programs - I have a Pippy's Sweets GC, so I think she'll be doing those

tie ribbons on the bells for outside the church (have the supplies already)

votive place cards (but I already have the votive holders)

find a new hair person...I know where I'll be going, I just need a person

wrapping supplies for my favors (personalized satin ribbon)

make pew bows (already have the ribbon)

Choose cake

I'm waiting for my dress and veil to come in, so I can determine if I need a slip or not. Hopefully that'll be this week.

.....and uh....drop 30 lbs and save another 10k. Should be cake!

oh yeah - and FIND A PLACE TO LIVE

I was going to schedule my fitting in Sept....should I go sooner?

nope, sept is perfect.

I thiknk I gained about 5 pounds not sure if that will make a difference or not. Im dieting like crazy!

This is making me really nervous!! The major vendors are like a piece of cake vs. all the little things for the day of!

Also, I'm later on in November, but my first fitting is set up for early in October, and my last fitting is about (I think, I don't have the sheet with me) two weeks before the wedding. But is that too early? I was hoping that the final fitting would be no more than a week before the wedding.
