Now I have a variation on the table numbers- have to share!

Now I have a variation on the table numbers- have to share!

I was really unsure how I wanted the table numbers to look. All I knew is, i wanted them numbered/named after Yankee players.

I started googling images of Yankee players...and then it hit me - HELLO! Make them look like the retired numbers in Monument Park!!

Only thing is, I would miss a picture of the player....I guess I gotta find a way to add that.

So here's an idea of what it looks like....I bet my sister would do an awesome job! The other piece of work is, to come up with a saying for the 'plaque' incase the player isn't retired yet (like Jeter, Giambi, etc).

I'm so excited, I had to share!

Well ya know, Andy did a fantastic job yesterday going 7 innings- and of all people, Mo blows the lead. So sad.

Oh thank you so much! I'm not normally creative at all- that's my sister! But once I started googling pics of players- once I saw the monument I was like HELLO!!!

what you can do if you want a pic of them..is behind the name one instead of leaving it blue do it w/ their pic...like make it a Watermark...that could look good!!

oooooh awesome idea- thanks!!!

I am so excited! I'm so on a roll, googling every monument in the park now...the tricky thing is, now I have to get REALLY creative and write a verse for Jeter, Giambi, Mariano Rivera and Paul O'Neill- the non-retired numbers.

I gave in to FH- I really didn't want Giambi, but he's his favorite. I wanted Bernie and he said no! I would like Joe Torre but FH hates him so that's out of the question....

You're too sweet Helen!

I never thought I'd be this insane about detail- you have to see me in real life! I'm all cluttered and disorganized! But this is FUN!

yeah it would be simpler that way- would also look simpler. But I guess I want the less-educated in yankees history people to put a face to the name. And too late- I already started googling all the pics and saving!! It is exhausting....I guess I'll see what my sister says when it's time to design 'em.

Not to mention, spending all this time searching is keeping me from getting off my butt and doing my kickboxing video!

Thanks everyone!!!
