Now I have a variation on the table numbers- have to share!

I was really unsure how I wanted the table numbers to look. All I knew is, i wanted them numbered/named after Yankee players.

I started googling images of Yankee players...and then it hit me - HELLO! Make them look like the retired numbers in Monument Park!!

Only thing is, I would miss a picture of the player....I guess I gotta find a way to add that.

So here's an idea of what it looks like....I bet my sister would do an awesome job! The other piece of work is, to come up with a saying for the 'plaque' incase the player isn't retired yet (like Jeter, Giambi, etc).

I'm so excited, I had to share!

What about a pic of the player in vellum over the number?

what about a pic of the player on the back of the number, with a description of the player and their lifetime stats? my friend did something simliar, when for her halloween themed wedding, each table was a classic horror movie character, and on the back was the name and year of the movie along with a description of the film

i would totally just do the Number with the stripes behind it, in the circle. i think that is perfect!!

Thanks- yeah we might just do that. We're also gonna incorporate that plaque- use what is already written about them at monument partk and then add a personal anecdote to it......for instance, mention how FH's dad sat on Yogi Berra's lap as a kid...or that we were at the game when Jeter hit his only grand slam, etc....
