I know that we are paying for the land but there is NO ONE that convince me that this .17 is worth $529,000. I am from Northport, I know the area that this is in but there is no WAY this is worth that!!!

The taxes are probably close to accurate, they might have the star.

That's too funny -- either there is something about the value of the property that we don't understand or these sellers are insane. I have been looking in Northport and have seen much nicer houses for less than this listing price. From what I've seen, there is no way they'll get that kind of money for that.

people are just crazy in what there asking for houses but the even crazier thing is that they will prob get it or at least close to it

This is soooooooo depressing! That TX house killed me! I've been spending like 8 hours a day on mlsi.com thinking, 'something's GOTTA come up eventually....' This is so frustrating! LI SUX!

I looked at that house about a year ago..the price was between 300-329K and the house was FALLING DOWN. It was a rip down, you were buying for the location. The surrounding homes are amazing! A builder got a hold of the home and gutted it, but it does not appear to be bigger, from the picture anyway. I'm sure it is the smallest home on the block but someone will buy it for the new price. And I'm sure the Town will re-assess the taxes for the new owner guaranteeing a tax increase!

Wow you looked at that house, where the heck is the front door?????? Are there really 3 bedrooms in that house????

We didn't go in the house, we did a drive by. The house was leaning to one side (it looked like a strong wind could take it down), the windows were covered with these funky green shutters (like a summer cottage, closed up for the winter).

We needed a home we could just move into with minor fixing, this house needed to be re-built so we didn't look inside.

The front door was in the front of the house.

The property is long and narrow, limiting the type of home to be rebuilt on the land.
