Now it's just funny...

My entire family is just bordering on the absurd with this shower nonsense now!!! It's pretty much to the point where I can't even be mad anymore because it's so ridiculous.

So we're sitting around at my sister and BIL's for a late Christmas party, and we get to talking about the French restaurant Mirabelle in St. James. My father has known the owner for years through his job, and I even worked there for a season as a coat check. Apparently, he sold the business, and the flagship restaurant will be shutting down. He sold to Lessings, so now he will be moving into the Three Village Inn, and it will be Mirabelle at the Three Village Inn.

So my nana, ever the diplomat says 'I hate french food. He's going to be cooking at the Three Village Inn? I don't want him to be cooking at Ali's...'

That's when my mother died just a little more inside.

Well, eff it, at this point I may as well choose the menu and make sure it's something I like!

And my sister was wearing the snowflake as this went down.
