Now ladies, you can be honest...

I posted earlier my mom's dress and my quasi-hair trial. Of course Mom looks awesome!

Now, my hairdresser was just 'trying' something so it wasn't really a true hair trial. I knew when I posted the pics that the pics were bad....it's actually kinda funny cuz I emailed the pic to my sister, then I went to her house to show her the new headpiece. I walk in the door and she goes, Oooooh what did you do different to your hair? It looks so much better! I did NOTHING! The picture was just horrible! We discovered that with digital cameras, you gotta take these pics outside! So I was relieved to hear she liked it...but now I'm like eeew the poor LIW girls must think it's really bad. So...be honest!

That was taken without the headpiece. Then I went to my sister's, and her friend who is a former hairdresser, tried this (check out my cutie niece/FG! She had to pose with me!)



So yes, hairstyle #2 looks neater- naturally cuz my hair had fallen apart at that point and she totally fixed it. My only thing is, I'm not sure I like my hair ALL away from my face. I like to have pieces framing it. In the first pic, I have that...it's a little long and my hairstylist will cut it and shape it closer to the wedding.

So.....what do you REALLY think? I know you were all being too nice in the other thread when I posted the original- but like my sister said, the pic didn't do it justice.

ETA: I'm also thinking- maybe I shouldn't have it wavy/curly on the bottom? Maybe just make it more full and straight with a little flip that naturally started to happen by the end of the day- what do you think?

Wow..I think you look great in the first pic..but the second pic you look amazing!!!! Def. a great hairstyle for you..and what a cute niece you have..

I thought it looked nice before but I have to say I love it more in the new pics! First you can see everything better, but I LOVE your headpiece in your hair and I LOVE the style with it all away from your face. It looks VERY elegant and I think it flatters you alot. It reminds me a little of Preshy's look from the front at TWOTY - which I believe you mentioned you liked.

Your FG is adorable!!!!!! So yeah, better pictures! And I like the style all the way up (I know you prefer the other, but I like this whole look all together a lot).

Thanks ladies! I just have to say YES she is a cutie!! She is gonna STEAL the show! She loves attention, loves to pose, loves to smile...my sister didn't even tell her to make those poses- she just did. It was hysterical. Oh my gosh I cannot WAIT to see how all three of my nieces look on the big day!!!

I really like when its all back. I prefer it without the bang peice hanging out.

Oh man, that's too funny! I didn't show FH the pictures, but I showed him what I looked like with hair all away from face and with the bang on the side. He said the bang on the side looked 'dated' (yet he said it didn't look dated on the pic of the bride above).

I guess I just think I look weird cuz I'm not used to wearing my hair all back like that- except in a ponytail at the gym and I look GRRROSS!! I'm used to having a side part...so this is just very weird to get used to. I keep feeling like I don't look attractive. Am I weird? Or do I just have to get used to the look?

Keep in mind that my hairstylist will cut that bang and make it fall right at my cheekbone- much like Jamie Sigler's pic-

I think I prefer the second 'trial' with your hair all away from your face. It looks classier, more elegant and very polished. I agree with your FH, that they way the first pic looked- the side bangs looked dated. Not sure why! Anyway, you have an absolutely gorgeous face, I don't know why you wouldn't want to show it off!! So, my vote is: totally away from your face! You will be a stunning bride either way, but I think you look even better with it away from your face!! Good luck!!

Okay I think it's pretty much unanimous- especially if FH says so- all hair away from face (although I might add some wispys on the side- I can't help it! haha).

Next question- curls/waves on bottom (which of course will look better the day of as it will be set alot tighter)?
Or straight and full (more like pic 2)?

My vote is for some curl on the bottom, not totally straight. You're gonna look fantastic!!
