Now, now girls....

I don't want anyone to cry because I'll no longer be on the boards during the day, but it's just the way it goes. I mean, I have to work SOMETIME! So, if you need consoling, please remember there are a ton of other wonderful girls on here to help you out, and after 3:00, I will be back, I promise!

It was good, very good in fact. I met my co-workers, had some meetings, met some parents and students. All in all a nice day. One thing I DID NOT like was that the head of the Board of Trustees came in and asked for money from the teachers. With the little amount of money that they pay us, they should be ashamed to ask us such a thing!

Well, I will probably cry at how small my first paycheck is since I am making 12,000 less than I was at my old school, but they want money because we are a non-profit organization (private school).Basically we need to give to the school. Ironically, the same money we give goes towards salaries for the next year. Oh well. I think it has to do with grants too. You can't ask for external money until you've received all the internal money you can. Or something like that!
