I dont mind old rock music, but I need some new rock music...and Z100 just doesnt cut the mustard when it comes to playing harder rock music like Krock used to play...
Thank god for live365 at work....At least I can still listen to what I want there. Scott

Re: Now that K-Rock is gone....
K-rock is still around - they've just changed their format to what they 'claim' is all rock all the time. but everytime I turn it on, all I hear is Pearl Jam (which i like) or some 80's hair band (Poison....Bon Jovi) Why do they have to change things?

What I meant when I said gone is that they changed their format and they are only going to play older rock music now........

Re: Now that K-Rock is gone....
THAT explains it!! I usually listen to K-Rock as I'm cooking dinner but when I put it on last night it was all older songs, I thought it was a flashback block or something liek that...... Why can't they just leave their format alone?! Taht's the only radio station I had left after LIR bit the dust!! stupid radio! Now I really can't wait to get Sirius - hopefully it will be soon now!

I like the Fordham station, 90.7. It's not the same but it's something. There does not seem to be anything else.

Q-104.3 is classic rock. from time to time they play current stuff, but not too often. K-rock played more modern rock - more edgy alternative stuff. I'm a classic rock kind of girl. There hasn't been a decent rock band out in years IMO. I don't consider Limp Bizkit rock. They are noise.

Try Sirius - Octane 20, Alt Nation 21, Faction 28. Those are the best Krock types, except they dont replay everything 10 million times like Krock did.
Goto www.sirius.com; click on listen. You can get a free 3 day pass to try Sirius over the net.

Me too!! That's pretty much all I listen to in the car now that LIR's gone. Only thing that ***** is the mornings when they play Irish music or Willie Nelson, but I've discovered some great new artsist through FUV.

Thats what I listen to. (Loving Ray Lamontagne right now!!!) I found so many great new artists on that station. I don't listen to the weird stuff on the weekends though.
