I didn't have one. Everything on the day-of went very smoothly except I didn't get all the pics I wanted. I don't necessarily regret not having a DOC, but I wish I designated someone to be on top of that. Unfortunately, I assumed my photographer would be.

Didn't have one and didn't need one. By the time the wedding happened, everyone in my life knew every detail about the wedding, that they could have run it themselves!

Seriously, didn't need one. I had a bridal attendant and 2 banquet managers that were fabulous! At one point, I had two bridal attendants...one that prepped me for the ceremony and one to keep me on track for the reception.

If I didn't have them, I would have had the BMs take care of stuff. The caterers and the place were on top of everything. My photographer and I had lengthy discussions about the photos and who was who. She even scoped out my before pictures venue to make sure she had the right equipment with her.

The band did their job perfectly as well.

Smooth sailing...

Didnt have one and definately didnt need one. I planned everything myself in 4 months and my Banquet Manager was awesome the day of!

Didn't have one and didn't need one. The BM at my hall and her staff were perfectly capable of making sure things ran smoothly. They did a great job.

I used Elaine Deluca and I can't imagine how I would've gotten through the wedding day without her. It was such a stress-free day thanks to her - vendors with last-minute questions asked her so I was really able to enjoy the day.

just like most of the otheres said... i didn't have a DOC, and didn't need one.... the church where the ceremony was had a coordinator who took care of things at the rehearsal and the day of, getting people in order.... i made sure i talked to the photographer a lot before hand to explain the shots i wanted, so that wasn't a problem... my mom sews and made my wedding dress and BM dresses, so i wasn't worried about anything having to be sewn, cause she could do it....
and then when we got to the reception, the maitre D took care of everything, and i had no problems at all....i just feel like the only time you really need somebody would be in the morning before the ceremony, and you could ask an aunt or friend of your moms or something to just be there to help out with things.... because once you get to the reception, the BM/ maitre D/ whoever kind of takes over and helps things run smoothly....

I honestly didnt care about anything that day- just wanted to be married !

My bridal attendant and maitre' d did most of eveything we needed.

I didn't have one, and didn't feel i needed one, even though it would have been nice.

Especially with all the craziness of trying to find the final payment to the photographer - my mother put it in a 'safe place,' forgot it at home, and then couldn't remember where that 'safe place' was.

so it would have been nice to have someone to hold on to all that, and take care of it. but otherwise, I don't feel like i needed one.
