Ok ladies.. so I have been lurking around on the board thinking we would setting a date for sometime LATE 2014.. early 2015... and NOW... We are BOOKED for March 2014 @ Village Club of Lake Success walked in, fell in love with everything and ready to go. 1 YEAR AWAY!.. I have my florist..( a great friend who does flowers out of her home, she is AMAZING if anyone wants her info) DJ - Check, Satisfaction - They are family favs and now we need a Photgrapher and Videographer!.. How does one even begin to DECIDE?? I am putting my list below in hopes that you lovely ladies can share feedback or quotes or any helpful info. The list is long and I cant imagine visiting with 10 + photgraphers/video people yikes!.

I never checked out any of these vendors so I don't have any quotes, but I've heard some pretty rave reviews on here about Lighthouse and Jay Lim!

I dont have quotes for you but I love the work from Lighthouse, Duet and Benchwerk. We met w/ Benchwerk and they were super nice. We didnt end up booking with them due to our budget. Good luck and congrats!

Don't go with Brett Matthews... great work but they're overpriced and uptight. Check out Janelle Brooke for photography instead.

I'm booked with Lighthouse for photo & video.... and we LOVE them there! Florio is a great guy and has an amazing eye. I booked back in 2011, so my quote is out of date, definitely meet with them. You will love them!

To help narrow down you should email them and ask if they are available on your wedding date. I tried reaching out to a few of those 10 months before my wedding and they were already booked. Many will send out a price sheet too, so you can get a quote before meeting them to see if they are out of your price range.

Brett Mathews company was overpriced,rude and snobby!!! I left there and I was like I cant believe I sat through his rudeness and you dont get the rights to pictures for 3 years! YUCK

This! I couldn't squeeze them into my budget but I ended up booked with Ken Hild who used to work with them. He was much more affordable and in my opinion - his work was even more gorgeous!

I did the most research when it came to Photo/Video ... I went with Studio 27.
