If we are having 175 people-- should we make that many programs?
It is a Saturday wedding so most people will come-- what are you girls doing?

i was wondering this too! im inviting 300 so i was thinking of making like 180. so if you're having 175, maybe 100?

Yeah I'm not making as many programs as guests. We're having like 90 guests, I'm doing like 60 programs.

I would make a little more than half of the number of guests you expect. Most people that come will be either couples or families -- each person doesnt need one program though...they can share. So, for us, we're inviting like 180 people. I would guess that only 100 (if even that) will show up to the church. So, I'll be making around 75 programs.

I am not expecting everyone to show up at the church....we are inviting 120 and I am making around 60 programs.

We're making about 180. Our guest list is 290 so I think that should be enough

Our guest list is 310 people, I'm making about 130 programs. I don't expect everyone to show up for the church.

You girls are right on....definitely make half the number of people attending. I made enough for every person attending and I have more than half leftover...what a waste. And my aunt was up til 2am the night before my wedding finishing putting them all together (we had to do them last minute b/c DH's dad was very sick and ended up dying the week of our wedding so glad we waited to print until last minute so we could make a nice mention of his passing and how he was with us that day)....anyway - I was upset there were so many left over...just b/c I know my aunt put so much time into putting them together for us. I had no idea - I really thought every person would take one. Apparently not!

We had about 175 RSVP yes and I made 100 programs for the church and they were all gone. We ended up not having any extra printed. So I would maybe do like 110.

Callan, I would definitely make that many.... in ireland, 99.9% of the guests go to the church---you'll need them. worse case scenario, you'll have some extras OR have the usher or whomever is handing them out only do one per couple.
I went by the same number of guests, but was later told that you go by the number of invitations.....couples usually share.

Make em ALL Callan. Go for the gusto, so you have no worries. Yeah...it's true people share, but I have to say, When Darren went to his sisters wedding, he saved the program . I'd do the equivalant to the amount of guests. Sorry to make you work harder, but hey....It's a once in a lifetime deal. And besides there beautiful

i was gonna say the same thing there are 250 on guest list but not everyone will come to church so i was only going to do 40-60...people can share!

We are only going to make like 50 if even that-I wouldnt make 175 not everyone will take one
