Our hall fits 230 people max I want no more then 200 people more like 180.
Well our list is 270 I counted a little over 30 people that I know are not coming - I am starting to stress about this, my mom said that we are going to get some unexpected no's.

I am definitely stressing about the same thing... Our list is about 70 people more than I want showing up!!

I'm sure you will get a few 'no's'..its still too early to stress - however if you sent out invites hoping for a 'no', why did that invitation go out in the 1st place? just curious... why not just not invite that person?

Well, I did the same and it was more out of obligation than anything.
Marie - some people might have prior engagements or vacation. Hope you're under your max!!

Yeah you DEF will you get a lot of unexpected no's... We invited a lot more people than I wanted and we got a TON of no's that I didn't anticipate!

The invitations that I am sending out that I know are 'no's' are to family members that are older and they only come to the church because they say that they are to old for a night reception, and also my parents friends that out out of state, and family that lives in italy that I know are not coming but I have to invite.

try not to stress... i'm going through this too... the list keeps growing and growing and i'm having nightmare of people sitting on top of each other... i'm hoping that some people who arent that close to us end up not coming

awww don't stress... you will def. get unexpected no's. BUT i don't think you'll wind up with 180 though
