This was big with the 06' brides and I was wondering if any of us are planning on doing it as well.
So many people said that guests sent the RSVP card back and forgot to write their name on it, so you never knew who the person was. They put a little # on the corner or back of the card, so when the card came back, they matched it to the # on the guest list and problem solved.

Funny that you posted this, I was just thinking about this the other day. I wondered about how guest would feel knowing that they are number 147 or whatever . . . I guess I am making it too deep though
Put it in the back in the corner of the card, they will not notice a thing. Also, I am sure your guest list if alphabetical & not by # of importance!
Don't worry about it

We did it, and it was the best move we made. I think everyone should do it.

Re: NUMBERING YOUR RSVP'S?
i did it...and my mom was like 'who wouldn't put their names on the line?'
well lo and behold--my dumbazz sister responded and wrote: 'We are coming' on the line and nothing else...no name or return address on envelope!!

Re: NUMBERING YOUR RSVP'S?
i did it and it's a lot easier when you do... consider it as a backup plan.. for when/if your guests don't put their names on the rsvp card..... at least you'll be prepared!

Re: NUMBERING YOUR RSVP'S?
I didnt number mine, and had no problems. Everyone wrote their names on them. I checked them off of an alphabetical excel list I created as they came back.
