Re: Nursery

Hi Laura,
We are in the process of doing his nursery now, so I will have pictures within the next month.
One thing for you to think about is, do you plan to do the nursery before the baby is born (which will be suitable for girl or boy ?) or do you plan to find out, or wait till the baby is born ?
Obviously I waited, so HE can have his little boy room! There are so many themes that I really cant pick just one. DH loves baseball, so I already bought him a wooden bat, personalized, that hangs on the wall (horizontally) to hang stuff from. We also fell in love with this baseball ceiling fan we saw, before I was even pregnant. His room is painted a rich light blue, called whimsical blue in Behr's Premium Paints (I was told Satin finish is best for kids rooms ...
His crib bedding is light blue, with yellows, greens and lavendars mixed in, its a BUGS theme by carters.
I am debating whether to paint on his walls. Im no artist but I love murals. I was just thinking of painting a tree in the corner, that reaches up into the ceiling (an 8ft tree or so), and then putting his crib caddy-corner under the tree.
So I guess our themes are mother nature and sports ?? LOL. oh and his mobile is also bugs, very rich in color, adorable.
I change my mind a million times on things, so his room may be totally different than what im thinking now !

What ideas do you have, for boy / girl ?

There is sOOO much out there to choose from !

DH wanted to do a star wars theme..NOOOO

Re: Nursery

I think we're going to wait until the baby is born so we know the sex to decorate. Since we're moving into a new apt, we'll probably paint the walls a light green and find a theme later that goes.
