Nursery Furniture

What brand does everyone have? Any recommendations?

We have been looking and so far there are two sets I really like but I just wonder if they are worth the money.

One is Pali and the other is by Ragazzi. The Ragazzi set seemed a little sturdier than Pali but was about $800 more.

We are looking for lifetime furniture not just something for the nursery.

Any recommendations or reviews would be great.

If you can, pick up the book Baby Bargains...it rates cribs and tells you what to look for. Pali and Ragazzi are both good cribs...I think Pali got a higher rating in the book because of value for the $$.

Good luck!

I just ordered my Ragazzi furniture. They have such beautiful stuff and I will definitely use the dresser and hutch for many years!

We just had our Bellini furniture delivered today. We had looked everywhere and at everything, including Pali and Ragazzi, and decided on Bellini because it seemed the sturdiest. We are also planning on using this as a lifetime set. We got the Jessica furniture and Isabella crib in natural. I believe the prices were near the Ragazzi prices.

I got this crib at Babies R Us. It's a Simmons Shaker Crib.
When I first saw it, I loved it and then I couldn't find it. It turns out, they discontinued it and marked it down leaving two left. The one on the floor and another one in the box. ( we took the one in the box) My mother and I flew down there and picked up the crib and not only saved 200 dollars but they also said, they would give us an additional 15% off if we took it that day. What a bargain!!

My changing table is from JC Penneys, in the same natural color

I have the Emily crib and changer from DiVinci /MillionDollarBaby.

I loved the Bonvita but it was too expensive for us.

Re: Nursery Furniture

I fell in love with the Pali. Like you we wanted furniture for life. Since we are still in Ireland, I haven't received my furniture yet, it will be delivered in June so I can't offer any other comments other than we went with Pali.
