Nutri System

Has anyone ever tried this?
It sounds very covenient since the food is delivered and portions are already measured.

Re: Nutri System

My brother and sister in law are doing it. They have both lost a lot of weight. He lost like 20 pounds and she lost like 15 I think.

I did this 20 years ago when now I wish I was the weight at which I started NS at. But it is good in that everything is done for you. It tells you EXACTLY what you can eat, BUT its not realistic. Who can eat like this? What if you go out to eat? What happens when you stop the program?

Personally I think WW is a much better plan b/c it teaches you to eat properly. I've been doing a modified WW plan on my own since Jan & have lost 31lbs to date.

I've been doing it for about a month and lost a few pounds - nothing substantial - but... I have been eating dinner out a few times a week lately and have not been to the gym at all.

For me I like it because its a no brainer - once I start thinking about what I am going to eat I get into trouble. The selections are good.

I am going to get more serious about it now though since we changed our honeymoon from Italy to Hawaii.

It goes against everything I believe in as far as eating natural fresh foods but I signed up for it today. I have 44 days until my wedding and I am really uncomfortable with my weight. I have been very successful on ww in the past but can't seem to have the discipline to do it now. I tried SB and did great the first week but for two weeks after that sticking to the program faithfully I couldn't lose any more. This is my last resort before my wedding.

a girlfriend of mine was on it and lost about 15 pounds but as soon as she stopped it, she gained it all back in a short period of time.

I really want to lose it for the wedding even if it is a temporary fix for right now. I know that sounds terrible but I just don't know how else to stay motivated right now. The estimated delivery time is Monday.

I understand I did Jenny Creig for a while and the weight just fell off because I did not have to plan my meals out it was easy. I will say I ended up gaining the weight back after I got off the program but it did work. Good luck and i'm sure it will work for you.

Good Luck! The food is pretty good - and its easy. I like not thinking about what I am going to eat - that's when I get into trouble.

According to the tracking info the package should be there when I get home today. I will start with breakfast tomorrow. No sense in starting with dinner tonight.

Two weeks and I have lost 3.3 pounds. I lose very slowly so I am pretty happy with this so far. I just wish I had more time.

I guarantee if you do 30 minutes of aerobics a day (nothing strenuous - walking works) and drink those 8 glasses of water a day, your weight loss will accelerate.
