My friend and I are considering going for the weekend. We want to stay somewhere on the beach or a quick distance away but also close to nightlife/restaurants? Any suggesions?
Or how about Amagansett? Any info is extremely appreciated!

Me and DH stay at the Royal Atlantic every year. You can get a room on the beach or right across the street from it and its close to all everything. hope this helps

In Montauk, we like the Beach Plum Resort. It's right on Old Montauk Highway - right across from the beach and you can be in 'town' in 5 minutes - if you don't want to worry about driving, you can get a cab for practically nothing.
