Just ran my first 5K today....it was for Colon Cancer Awareness. I'm so happy I did this, if anyone ever told me I'd be doing this I would have thought they were NUTS! Anyway my goal was at least 35 minutes, and I did it in 32:19....WOOOHOOO! Just had to share! :)
that's awesome!!! I'd be dead if I ran that.....!!!

Congrats!!! My cousin is a mother of 2 & runs almost every weekend...they have the races all over long island...its such a stress reliever for her & im jealous lol i need to get back in shape & im def running once spring time comes!!! Plus its for a good reason!! Great job!!

if you run another one, i'll totally join if it's in nassau county. trying to start getting into shape and 5k is a good start. i run about the same pace and want to get it down...

OMG I would totally do it...I live in Florida though :( I will be in NY for a good chunk of the summer (mid-July prob) if there are any going on at that time, I am SO in!!!!!
