I've started the C25K program twice and have only gotten halfway through it....I'm determined to finish it!!!

I'm in no place to be giving tips....I did train for 2 months before...the few days before I stuck with the elliptical to keep working on my endurance, but to keep the stress off of my shins ( I have bad shin splints) But if that isn't a factor then it prob wouldn't matter. Also, the day before, drink a lot of water!!!

Woooooo hoooo!!! You go girl!! That's amazing!!! FH, FBIL and I just did a 5k on Sunday for leukemia and lymphoma!! It makes you feel so great when your done knowing it's for such a good cause : )

Just ran my first 5K today....it was for Colon Cancer Awareness. I'm so happy I did this, if anyone ever told me I'd be doing this I would have thought they were NUTS! Anyway my goal was at least 35 minutes, and I did it in 32:19....WOOOHOOO! Just had to share! :)
