I so wanted to go to Mets opening Day today but I couldn't cause duty calls. Unfortunately I couldn't find a station that was live streaming it for free. So I just watched the play by play on their website. It wasn't the same plus knowing my 19 month old niece was at the game enjoying it but it sufficed. Happy they won. I actually put on my FB status is this a April Fools joke or is this a sign of a good season to come.

Growing up in a serious sports house, I share your feelings about opening day. Unfortunately, the Yankees season was over before it even began with all of the injuries that are plaguing this squad.
I hate to say it, but Mo isn't even gonna make it to the post-season based on the future of this team.
I'll never stop being a Yankee fan but I think this year the Orioles will take AL east and the Texas Rangers will go home world champions.
