Growing up in a serious sports house, I share your feelings about opening day. Unfortunately, the Yankees season was over before it even began with all of the injuries that are plaguing this squad.

I hate to say it, but Mo isn't even gonna make it to the post-season based on the future of this team.

I'll never stop being a Yankee fan but I think this year the Orioles will take AL east and the Texas Rangers will go home world champions.



I wouldn't say the Yankees are finished. They always have a way of making it to the post season. That being said I agree about the Orioles. Not so sure about the rangers though.

I hope you're right about them. I just have a bad feeling about this season. You might also be right about the Rangers, but when making my Opening Day picks (my dad and I choose ALDS/NLDS winners, then ALCS/NLCS winners, then the World Series winners, along with MVPs and Cy Young winners...

my gut told me to go with the Rangers but I may have missed the Tigers. I'M SO TORN!
