NWR - abnormal pap

I had an abnormal PAP when I was aorund 18 years old, and they did a colposcopy, and everything was fine. SInce then all my PAP have been normal.

Try not to worry too much, go for more testing. Good Luck

I had one a few years ago and they did the colposcopy which came back negative. I had a few more abnormal ones so I was going every 3 months but since then they have been normal every time. Good luck, it's much more common then you think so try not to worry too much.

hi all - thanks so much for all your hugs and support. i just got back from having another test done. she is doing a more specific test rather than a routine pap. i'll have to call back next week to get results. hopefully it will all turn out okay. it's nice to have all this support.

I've had the same experience. Don't worry now. It tends to happen at times, also if you have your Pap right after your period, or if you had sex within 24 hours of the Pap, it could alter the results of the test
