NWR- Acupuncuture

NWR- Acupuncuture

Has anyone ever tried it and liked the results?

I'm thinking of it for two reasons:

1. I get migraines during my period from estrogen withdrawal. It has definitely gotten better since I switched birth control pills but I still get a headache for one day (compared to 4 days previously). It would be nice if I didn't get any headaches at all.

2. I have allergies. I just wait for them to attack and take allegra which has been working fine but still.. I'd rather not have to deal with it.

TIA!

I'm a fan of acupuncture. I've been treated for all types of issues- digestion, women's health, knee....

You should definitely try it. I was very leery of having needles in my ears but it really makes a world of difference. You feel the energy rush through your body and then it's just the deepest relaxation imaginable. I usually fall asleep.
Try a few sessions.

Good luck!!

I tried it for my Migraines. Didnt work. I also get them because of my cycle. I stopped taking BCP. I did try the mini pill for years because it does not have estrogen. Worked for the headaches but had breakthrough bleeding every month no matter what I did.

I wouldnt bother with the Accupuncture for the headaches unless you have amazing health insurance and its completely covered.
