NWR: Affordable NYC Boot camp
Hi Ladies:
Some of you have asked me for information on the Manhattan Boot Camp. I am posting the info below. I had a great experience last year and toned up in 5 weeks. It was AMAZING! The guy that runs the camp is an ex-trainer for a Connecticut College sports team (don't remember which one) and really pushes you to do your best w/out being a drill sargent. HTH!
Winter Running Camp - February 6th - March 3rd (Monday-Friday)
Spring Boot Camp - Starts March 6th (Morning & Evening Sessions/ Mon-Thurs)
Do you want to make a serious commitment to get in shape? If you do then this is the program for you. The training environment is very friendly and supportive yet challenging. Over 200 people of various fitness levels went through camp this past year. The success stories were numerous as many people achieved their goals. Whether the goal was to work up to a 1.5 mile run or 10 mile run, lose 30 lbs or run the NYC Marathon – people from the camp accomplished all of the above. We are the only camp that brings a variety equipment to central park for workouts and provides weekly workouts(4 days per/week mon-thur). NYCFitness Camps are unmatched for value, quality and results. The program consists of running, power walking(beg-intermediate), interval training, fartlek training, hill work, circuit weight training (total body), strength bands, exercise balls, sprint ladder, agility hurdles, agility exercises, rope jumping, abdominal work and flexibility. Morning session is Monday-Thursday from 5:45am-7:15am. Evening session same days 6:30pm-8pm. Nutritional guidance is also provided. The group meets at 86th street off the Westside at the reservoir. You may begin the camp on any Monday or Tuesday and stay for five weeks. When you reserve a spot I will email you directions, course description, waiver and preparation suggestions. Please include your telephone number. I would like to speak with you about your current fitness level and fitness goals. Keep in mind you will be able to make major changes in body composition and fitness level over the five week period. The cost of spring camp is $235.
