Well FH works for American Home Morgage and he was told that he only has to go in tomorrow to find out about his benefits and then that is it.
The last thing we need right now while saving for a wedding was him getting laid off.
For any of you LI Brides who are in the process of buying a house and using American Home Morgage, contact your lawyer as soon as possible.

aww---i'm so sorry to hear about that! this has been happening to a lot of mortgage companies lately -- so sorry it's effecting you guys. one of our GMs had that happen to him--he went for training and everything in Louisiana for a company--came back and they were closing up shop!
everything happens for a reason--even if we don't understand it at the time--you guys will make it thru this!

my FH works for a mortgage company too...he is waiting for his to go under too. its such a bad time to be in that industry...scary!!
