Fantasia is Fantastic!!

Vocal control is just as important as strength, just cause you can hold a note a long time, doesn't mean you have control or strength, just means you have a great pair of lungs..lol Sorry but to me Diana sounded like she was shouting at times during all three of her songs.. and Fantasia didn't sing badly, her first song.. the music was just off.. which has happened alot to all of the contestants this season..

Well that's my two cents, and as much as I want Fantasia to win.. I smell an upset.. just cause people love the Mariah/Celine/Whitney/Christina big voice thing..

Yes, he did say that because he's pretty good at knowing who america will vote for, but all three judges said Fantasia was and should be the American Idol.. which means.. Diana will win..lol

But either way they both win, they will both have careers for a long time.

Well, I HATE the whole Mariah/Celine/Whitney/Christina big voice thing...I just think she is more talented. I think that if given time for her vocal chords to grow further (with age) and the help of vocal coaches Diane has the potential to be even stronger than she is. Personally, I don't even vote b/c either way I have no intention of buying the cd's but I just don't see all the hype about Fantasia. She has a great personality, a different sound, and works the stage but I don't hear the voice to back it up. JMO!

I do not like Fantasias's voice. I think Diana has a better voice but she was out of tune last night.

I think Fantasia has done better overall. I do think lately Diana has been doing better.

My vote is for Fantasia just because I am going with overall.

I do think Diana is great and I won't be upset if she wins!

Guess I really didn't help right?

I think Fantasia is a better singer and performer. When she sings you feel the emotion and energy.

Diana, can belt out the notes but her range isn't all that great. It always sounds like she is shouting. When she sings more mellow songs she gets pitchy.

ETA: Although I think Fantasia should win, i think Diana will win. People are hatin' on Fantasia bc the judges were praising her so much last night. Some people obviously don't know what good singing is bc look what happened to LaToya and Jennifer.

I like them both. I think Diana will get the popularity vote and Fantasia will still get a record deal and probably put out an album first.

I do like them both - Fantasia, I thought was really good last night - but she does sound very gospel like. Diana - she has a big voice - but she needs to work on her control, she's young yet though. At this point I dont care who wins - I wouldn't buy either one of their albums.
Latoya on the other hand - I thought she should win the whole thing from the start.
