do you guys ever fight with neighbors about this? ohhh i just brought it on!!! especially after having to dig myself out of that snow and to have my ahole neighbor take it 2 nights in a row now. his lazy azz couldn't dig himself out so he takes my spot.

i left a nasty note on his car telling him to either park in front of his own place or dig himself out a spot

Oh this is my neighborhood. i hate my next door neighbor because the skankers bf seems to try to shove his car in between cars and then her brother sells drugs (puts the pot in the bushes and has drive bys where they pull up and he gets in thecar and 10 mins later is back yeah buddy we know what you are doing). Then the twit across the street would park the car in front of my house all weekend mind you i have a car, dad's car, sisters car and FH car so we would have to drive around looking for a spot. I finally left a note saying um you have a spot in fronot of your house and a driveway go park there. The one night she was in front of my house and we got in a fight stupid l e s b o.

well we arent allowed to park on the street over night in Lynbrook so i dont have this issue but i do have the issue of constantly getting tickets bc i leave my car on the street when i cant fit in the drive way

never understood that about Lynbrook...or the alternate side parking there. i wonder if they're the only town on LI that does that....maybe Long Beach too?

Nope they're definitely not the only town. Valley Stream, Malverne, Rockville Centre, East Rockaway - the incorporated villages. I'm originally from Valley Stream and FH is originally from Lynbrook. It really was such a PIA to not be able to park in the street.

so weird! i lived in Lindenhurst for a year and that was a incorporated village and no prob! i wonder if it's a nassau county thang?

I live in a neighborhood that has so much free parking space. Our next door neighbors live on a corner so they have tons of parking spaces in front of their house. Well, right between their driveway and mine there is a parking spot, and is in front of property that belongs to my house. Right there is a parking spot. They feel it is necessary to park there instead of in front of their property.

The last snow storm before this one. They parked their car in that spot so it made it impossible for the snow trucks to plow the snow away from our driveway. The other day, my FH parked his car there and they parked right behind him, literally all up on his car, meanwhile they had all this free space in front of their house. Jerks!!

I have neighbors like that...They park in front of my house in my spot, so whenever they do that I park in front of their house right in the middle so I take up their only two spots in front of the house...Not my fault they are obnoxious b'stards (Honestly they are...when I was 15 the woman chased me when I got off the bus from school screaming and cursing at me telling me she would kill me for looking at her again...CRAZY!!)
