NWR: and the parking wars begin.......

do you guys ever fight with neighbors about this? ohhh i just brought it on!!! especially after having to dig myself out of that snow and to have my ahole neighbor take it 2 nights in a row now. his lazy azz couldn't dig himself out so he takes my spot.

i left a nasty note on his car telling him to either park in front of his own place or dig himself out a spot

i am fuming

I hate that!!! You tell him girl!!!

We used to have this problem at our old apartment. There were so many people renting on the block that everyone parked wherever you could find a spot. I used to actually watch people out my front window if they were parked in front of my place. When they would leave, I'd run downstairs and run down the block to get my car and move it

lmao fh peed on our neighbors door handle lmaoooo

he really hates our neighbor. and that takes a loT!

well we arent allowed to park on the street over night in Lynbrook so i dont have this issue but i do have the issue of constantly getting tickets bc i leave my car on the street when i cant fit in the drive way

yea my best fiend lives down the road in the same development and she was pissed this person was taking 2 spots esp since there is barely any to begin with..

It is probably the most obnoxious rule. I've resorted to leaving a note on the car saying 'car disabled' so they dont ticket me its been working lately but i think they're going to catch on soon haha...
Lynbrook claims they dont want cars on the street over night bc they feel it leads to 'unwanted crime' ie they think that a car on the street at 4am means that it must belong to someone breaking into a house

Nope they're definitely not the only town. Valley Stream, Malverne, Rockville Centre, East Rockaway - the incorporated villages. I'm originally from Valley Stream and FH is originally from Lynbrook. It really was such a PIA to not be able to park in the street.

They also do it to try to keep the illegal apartments at a minimum. If you have a car, but you don't have use of the driveway and can't park in the street, chances are you won't rent out an apartment there.
