I can't talk about this at work bc everyone will think i'm bragging..

but i got submitted for this big award at work and the awards ceremony is tonight in Colorado. They were going to fly me there but the way our flights line up I would have been gone for 2 weeks, and my boss couldn't have that, so i'm still stuck here

So this is the first time I've made it this far in one of these awards brackets, so even if I lose I still did pretty good.

... but I'm still hoping I win

Granted its earlier in Colorado than it is here, but we're thinking that the fact that we haven't heard anything yet is a bad sign

If any of the winners were from here (there were 5 of us nominated in different categories), then they probably would have emailed our boss last night.

ughhh sooo I didn't win Boooo

Its weird because someone from my unit won 3 out of the 4 quarters (and I was one of those people) and since I beat those other 2 at my unit, I figured I had a real good chance.
