NWR: Any Accountants??

I usually do my own taxes but I am itemizing for the first time this year. What are the limits for charitable contributions? I try to attend church every Sunday and will always put $5-$10 in the basket. Can that be claimed since I technically have no receipts?

Total will be about 3% of my income. I dont want to rasie red flags but I need any deduction I can get!!!!

you have to have a recipt or a canceled check or a charge on a credit card for it

You won't get any deduction if its only 3% of your salary...i believe it needs to be 5% of your AGI in order to get the money back. you don't need receipts for $250 and under...anything over you need proof.
