NWR - Anyone do wine tours / tasting in Napa Valley / Sonoma??
FH and I are planning a vacation to California for late November. We are wine enthusiastis (sorry, couldn't come up with a non-snobby way to say 'we really love wine!'), so our main purpose in going is to go wine tasting.
We don't have much to go on other than our own research, as we don't know too many other people who have gone.
We really can't afford to do private tours just the two of us (maybe one day if we spring for it, but I doubt it!), so we were looking into the public tours where you just sign up for your spots and other people are on the tour, too. Are there many of these sorts of tours available?
We want to do at least 2 days of wine tasting, but also want to make sure we hit a lot of good wineries, too...
Anyone have any experience?
