NWR: Anyone else...

really afraid of heights???? I'm watching rescue me and he just saved a window washer hanging from like 35 floors up.. just watching it practically made me want to cry. i'm so afraid of heights i can't even watch them on TV! lmao...

anyone else share my fear??

sorry... i'm really bored and FH has been sleeping since like 9:30 since he's gotta be up for work at 5!! LoL

Funny story though - I wanted to try and get over my fear - or at least work on it...

We're at an amusement park, Dorney Park to be precise & i'm feeling gutsy and decide i can try to go on that Mouse Trap ride - not terribly roller coastery - but high up. We get on line - there's no one ahead of us and we are standing in front of the gates - waiting to sit down and get on. The ride STOPS WORKING....boom - power outage. There are people stuck at the top - again - no biggie for them - it's not too high - but for me it's a big deal. I looked at everyone we were with and one of the girls was like, 'Okay - that's the biggest sign you are ever going to get - give up, let's keep moving...you are DONE..'

It was sooooooo odd that i finally had the nerve to try and couldn't. I can take a hint though!!!!!

Me & heights dont mix well either! Although I go on rollercoasters so go figure... I panic when i'm on a ski lift and it stops and theres nothing below me for 100's of feet.. I wont go on those high water slides, and i need anxiety pills for planes I'm a disaster!!!

It's pretty much a kiddie ride...i'll see if i can find a pic. It's literally right next to the swings...

FH says to say it's the little wuss ride...

Oh me too!!!!! When we went hiking... we went by a waterfall that was barely running so we got to walk on top of it and I didnt wanna look down at all!

Oof - never.... We went to Splish Splash and i was FREAKING out the whole time on the way up the rides... I started freaking out at one so badly they let me up before a few other people...i just needed to get down...

yup totally. my worst thing is stair that don't have backs on them so your foot can go right through it. also spiral staircases and i can't look out of the window in really tall buildings or over the railing of anything high it's so embarrassing!

NOTHING... We go and FH goes on all the stuff - or we take the nephews and i go on the carousel with them....

We try to go with buy one get one tickets, or something similar. I LOVE Dorney and Hershey - they have the sunset admissions - we tend to do that - so it's not as much for me to pay to get in to do NOTHING. I even wrote to Dorney once before - stating that they should have a yellow wristband for the chickens out there - they pay 10 bucks to get in instead of 40....and they can't go on rides.... Got no reply...

FH just went on that - he's NOT afraid at all - but he said it swayed - he was ABOVE the trees...it takes a LOT for him to freak and he said he was closest then...

He went on that highest coaster in the world in Sandusky...(until Great Adventure outdid it by a foot)..

not really....I am not big on escalators....i would rather climb 1000 stairs than go on escalators....random...I know

i can't do roller coasters!!! Just looking at them scares me!!!! When i was younger though .. for our 8th grade graduation trip they took us to great adventure.. i got brave and went on free fall.. and OMG i thought i peed my pants..lmao.. never again!!!!!! I did go on tower of terror when it first opened in MGM too.. but of course the cameras werent in yet so i have no proof of my brave attempt!! lmao.. but as i get older the fear seems to get worse..

I hate free fall... its like the only thign i wont go on... oh and i was forced to go on kingda ka... sooo i got in the seat... and called the guy over and was like listen i wanna get off the ride and he pushed the thing down over me and said 'no you're going' I cant even tell u how terrified i was and i had tearing streaming down my face.... Anything that shoots out, or falls really fast scares the friggen crap outta me!!!!

Wow - he wouldn't let you off! That' s an issue.. I'm always the one waiting on a ride with him and doing the chicken walk across dance... that's what FH calls it...
