NWR: Anyone else skeptical about flying

on thier Honeymoon, with all this crap going on Im think about cancelling Itlay and driving to Fl. Or I could just be paranoid..

I've never been a big fan of flying, but I am not going to let that get in my way. I don't think you should cancel Italy, I'm sure once you are on the plane you will be so excited that you are married and going to Italy, that you won't be as nervous as you thought you'd be.

I've flown over a dozen times since 9/11. Including at least 2 flights to Europe (one of which was to Spain only 2 weeks later). I'm not at all skeptical - you can't let fear rule your life.

I went to California in August (my first time on a plane since 9/11) and at first I was scard but it was fine. Don't let the flight stop you from enjoying your life - Italy sounds great!!!

My honeymoon involved 7 flights! It was my first time flying since 9/11, and I was very nervous, but it was fine. In retrospect, I may not have booked a trip that involved so many flights but I loved my honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it, and I'm glad I did not change a thing!

Last year I had to fly quite a bit, and I had the worst nightmares, but everything was OK. Say a prayer b4 you take off

I flew last year 2 weeks after the bombing to Aruba. I didn't want to go thrugh with it but thank goodness I went because I got engaged on that trip to Aruba!

If you let these people run your life with fear, you are letting them win. Enjoy yourself always!

I actually just flew today!! Just got back from Atlanta with the FIL's.
My flight was just fine! Completely uneventful. If you think about everything too much you'll just drive yourself crazy. Just bring some magazines...or take a sleeping pill when you get on-and just relax!

dont change what you want just because of flying. i live in california and FH lives out there and we've flown tons of times since 9/11. it was a bit freaky at first but just keep reminding yourself how safe airplanes are compaired to the cars we drive everyday. just bring something to distract you or dont sleep the night before so you can just pass out on the plane ride

You ladies are great. i think Im taking a sleeping pill as someone suggested. I havent flown in a while, Im just freaked out

I have flown many times since Sept 11 and felt very secure. FH and I recently realized though that there is a good chance we may be flying back from our honeymoon ON SEPT 11th That may be a little scary.
