Out of nowhere every once in a while my face gets really red and feels like it is burning.
It just happened and I get so nervous that something is wrong. I was blow drying my hair and it started, I have had it for about half an hour now and it has happened a few times in the past.
Seriously, my cheeks feel like thay are on fire.
Am I dying????????

This has happened to me before, I don't know what causes it....usually just stress...I tend to break into hives.

It has happened to me a lot this winter...
I think the combination of cold and stress really dries out your skin

happens to me too.
usualy when stress related, nervous.. etc.. could be like a heat rash type thing too.. you were blowing your hair so you might have gotten too hot

OHH i get this tooo, at first i thought that something was wrong with me, but then i Realized that its due to stress... also i get those when im in big crowds and someone ask me a question and in really red and im hot and sometimes dorn know what to say.... so its definitly stress reliated.... im just scared that on my wedding it will happen to me...

That happened to me last year... I had just started using a new moisterizer, and it turns out I was allergic to it, even though it claimed to be hypoallergenic. My face would feel like it was on fire, so I would put on more of the moisterizer b/c I just figured my skin was super dry, but that only made it worse. Took me a week to figure it out.

i get that occasionally and it's because i have really sensitive skin. i usually have some kinda mild allergic reaction to ANYTHING i put on it. maybe your soap or whatever cosmetics you're using is irritating it. try staying away from them for a while and see if it helps.

I get this all the time. I get blotches all over my chest and face.
I think it is an overactive nervous system. Similar to people who's hands or pits or feet sweat when they are nervous, some people 'blush'.
It happens to me when I am nervous, (then I feel it happening and it gets worse!) and also when my face hits extreme temperatures sometimes - maybe this happened with the hair dryer.
It's harmless, there are procedures to correct it but its really really risky and not always works.
I am absolutely terrified that I will be blotchy when I walk down the aisle!

could laos be stress
maybe allergies
if it doesn't go away by tomorrow call he Dr. just to check
