Re: NWR: Anyone ever have Vertigo?
Since you were just on a bumpy plane ride a few days ago, i'm going to say it was that, maybe some jet lag too. It happens to me all the time after being on a plane for a while..
My grandmother has Vertigo (actually just had a really bad episode a few days ago) where she cant lean back, cant lean forward, she cant turn fast around, etc...cause she will fall over. Shes on meds for it, but they wear off soon after taking them.

I had vertigo a few years ago. If you dont start to feel better, go to the doctor and they test your blood pressure when you stand to see if you have it( something like that). They gave me an antibiotic called anti-vert and it went away in a few days. Hope you feel better!

Hi I am Megan's MOH. I am also a Doctor Of Physical Therapy specializing in dizziness disorders. There are many causes of dizziness, however, the symptoms you are reporting may be related to Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. This is easily treated by a qualified physical therapist with training in that area. Please research it online - there are some nice resources out there. Hope this helps!! You can go to www.onbalance.com to find a specialist in your area.

Linda - it might also be an inner ear infection! That happened to me once coming back from a vacay - the pressure in the cabin and the popping can screw up your inner ear.
You might wanna see a dr if it doesnt go away - or try a decongestant
So how was the wedding anyway??

Re: NWR: Anyone ever have Vertigo?
I had an episode a year ago when I was driving. I was seriously fine one minute, and pulling over throwing up screaming crying the next. I was so dizzy and my head hurt so bad, I though my head would explode. Make a long story short, the doc in the er diagnosed me with vertigo. He took one look in my ear and said my whole equilibrium was out of whack. I am also anemic which played a little part. My blood pressure tends to usually run on the low side. I was on meds for 2 weeks, and every once in a while, whether I'm out in the store, or wherever, I just get that feeling for about 30 seconds when everything in the background gets really soft and low and I feel slightly dizzy. It's just the way it is
