NWR: Anyone familiar with employment laws?

I'm trying to figure out if I would still qualify for unemployment if I quit a job due to my boss having severe anger-management issues, which is making me a little scared

I'd quit today if I knew I would still get unemployment...

It depends on whether or not the company you work for fights any unemployment claims. The company I was working for did not fight any claims that were submitted to them, so even employees that voluntarily left were recieving unemployment because the company would approve all claims that were sent to them. So it does goes based on the laws, but it also goes based on how your company handles the claims that get sent to them
