I heard from a few different people that Joe Biden might be stepping down as the VP candidate due to health problems and Hillary Clinton might be stepping in. Has anyone heard about this and is there any truth behind it?

Wow ... havent heard this but it is strategic of Obama to do that because since McCain elected Palin he gained all the women voting for Hilary.

I haven't heard about that either. It's so funny because Biden said he would much rather be McCain's running mate. He really doesn't put himself out there as much as Palin does. I think that is why Obama would second guess his choice.

I def. don't think that all women who would have voted for Hilary are going to vote McCain because of Sarah Palin. I personally don't feel this way, but A LOT of women (and men) think Sarah Palin is a joke!

Re: NWR Anyone hear about Joe Biden
I did a search and found this:
TRUTH OR FICTION?
On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing
health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur
after the VP debate on 10/2. Hillary does not want to face Sarah Palin in a debate
There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info.
Generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there
to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible. I have
already seen a few short blurbs about this - the 'health problem' cited in
those articles was aneurysm. Probably many of you have heard the same
rumblings.
However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like
this Obama strategy will be a go. Therefore, it seems that the best
strategy is to get out in front of this Obama maneuver, spell it out in
detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.
So, let's start mixing this one up and cut the Obamites off at the pass -
send this info out to as many people as you can - post about it on websites
and blogs - etc.

I agree, I really liked Hillary but I can't stand Sarah Palin at all.

It is kind of a scarey thought that its possible that if McCain becomes president and something happens to him, Palin could become president. Her prior experience doesn't make me feel that she could be a fit president of this country, especially under these economic times!

You are right- I know a lot of Clinton supporters still voting for Obama. I don't think that will shift their votes to the other side.
However, the media is making Palin look like a joke. Read her policies. She is not a joke at all IMO. I have a friend who lives in Alaska who is a liberal and LOVES Palin because she squashed corruption in Alaska.

I am completely with you on this. I feel like she doesn't know what she is talking about half the time. She is very inexperienced. It is clear that McCain picked Palin because she's a good looking woman and he thought he would gain all of the Hillary voters but I don't think it's working out as he had planned. There are also a lot of controversial things that she has done that make me dislike her even more.

I understand why you feel that way. However, Obama lacks much needed experience as well IMO. And, I believe Palin has a bit more than Obama. Do I think she could be President? No. She has some experience yes but not enough to run a country that is facing serious issues at this point.

Don't get me wrong, I am not pro Obama either. I kind of feel like both candidates are not the best. I am a little disappointed with both. Its going to be a tough decision for me, honestly. But living in NY, we know the state will be going Democratic.

If you were or weren't- I respect your opinion either way. A lot of people are having a tough time with the election. I guess they key is really listen to their speeches and read their policies and go from there.

Re: NWR Anyone hear about Joe Biden
This is a big joke. They were talking about it on Opie and Anthony this morning.
Someone from the Opie and Anthony show started the rumor and they were talking about how surprised they were that major media outlets picked up the story without an ounce of fact behind it.
But I would LOVE to see a Hilary/Palin face-off.

I didnt mean that every woman supporting Clinton is now supporting Palin but statiscally speaking the McCain campaign has gone up in numbers among woman voters that he did not have prior when Hilary was in the running. It was just a statiscal statement, thats all
