I just adopted a 7 week old kitten and need to bring him in to see a Vet for his shots and for a check up. Anyone use and recommend a Vet around the Mineola area that is good? I know that Mineola Animal Hospital is near me but I’ve heard very bad things about them. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Westbury Animal hospital by the train station off of Post Avenue are great...I adopted my cat from them 10 years ago and I still drive from CT to NY to have him see Dr. Cronin....Dr. Wilder there is great too!

I'm totally drawing a blank on the name, but there is a great place on Brush Hollow Road in Westbury right by the stadium 12.. send me an FM to remind me to ask my friend who goes there wit her pets

try the north shore animal league. that's where we take our dog. there are super affordable and honest. they do not make up any sickenss just to get money out you.
we got max up to date with his rabies shots. kenel cough vaccination, checked out his kidneys and liver (this was when the food recall thing was going on) and we got a years supply of heart worms and flea and tick prevention treatment all for about $160.
i think we probably had a few more check up shots for max.. but i can't remeber.

New Hyde Park animal hospital. Dr Collins or any of the other doctors they are all very nice.

I'm also in Mineola, and we just took out kitty to The Cat Hospital. It's on Hillside Ave in Williston Park. They only see cats, and they were fantastic.

catnip and carrots on hillside avenue in new hyde park is an AMAZING cat vet. i cant remember her name, but my mom who was had a lot of cats uses her and swears by her.

I am not sure if this is too far for you but my veterinarian is in Hicksville (Island Trees Vet) and I absolutely love them. We used to take my family cats and dog to them. I currently take my 2 cats and kitten to them and my aunt started taking her cat to them. I cannot rave enough about them. If you need their number, it is 516 735-0090. They have late hours too.
I've heard of too many bad stories at different vets and trust me when I tell you that my animlas are my children I would not just take them to any vet.

I'm from Williston Park. My mom has been taking my dog to a vet at the end of Willis Ave in Roslyn Heights. Not sure what the name is but he's a really good vet.

'The Cat Hospital' is amazing! They saved one of my old co-workers cats when no one else knew what was wrong with him. I don't know how their prices are though. 516-877-2228
