NWR: Anyone watch The Ultimate Road Trip on YES?

Gettinhutched's thread about Bob Shepperd doing her bridal party announcements got me thinking about this...

My FH actually thought of doing the bob shepperd thing a few years back when he was on the first season of the Ultimate Road Trip and got to meet Bob Sheppard. Do any of you watch that show? Yes, my FH actually went too all 162 games of the Yankee season in 2005 and was on a reality show about it!

Anyway, it got me thinking about how many of you might have seen it and actually know who he is.

So wierd.

OMG who's your fiance!?!?!?! First season...hmmm....VINNY?! He's a Long Islander so it's gotta be him! We've bought shirts off of him MANY times!! We see him starting off roll call (either with 'YO! MELKY!' or 'YO, JOHNNY!') every Saturday! We LOVED that show...although I'm not as into it anymore. The first season was so cool!

Took me AGES to see this thread...I just did a search for Bob because I wanted to save that information on my computer...and here you are. SO COOL!

Come on there have to be other girls that have seen this show! Come on out!!!

I don't get to be in NY that much (so sadly, not too many Yankee games I can get on TV ) but I saw an episode recently where they were all attacking a cardboard cutout of Curt Schilling. Awesome!

YES! I love it!!! never saw that, I would have totally enjoyed that one!! that is my ultimate fantasy!

Just kiddin', I'm not that violent. But grrrr I can't stand that man.

It's so cool to meet someone on this site that actually watched Vinny on the show and the fact that you guys actually sit in the bleachers is awesome! I was wondering if there were any fellow bleacher creatures on this site.

Come by and visit some time! I'd love to meet you in person!

Brett bought a shirt from Vinny a month or two ago! A blue one with Bleachers NY or something on it....

Looking forward to running into you! I love being a bleacher creature!! We have a pretty wild crew over in 41 too. We had a ball for the Subway Series last time- our usual guys in front of us were pretty drunk from tailgating and were hysterically ribbing on the Mets fan next to us. One of the usual guys actually brought him with him! Too funny!

Your FH is a Yankee celebrity!!!

By the way- we're Saturday ticket holders...so I hope to see you there on a Saturday sometime!!
