NWR Anyone who lives in the West Babylon, Farmingdale area

The county is considering putting a homeless shelter for sex offenders in either WB or Farmingdale. There is a meeting tonight @ Farmingdale HS @ 7pm. Here is the link if you are interested. Link

where do they plan on putting it???

I wish WB stayed like it was when I was growing up

I know i feel the same way you do!!! Now I'm not positive about this but if they do put it in WB it will be back behind the # streets near edison ave by the dumps & cemeteries....so basically it will be about a 10 min walk in any direction to get to residential area w/kids.

Yeah seriously. Multiplex, Dave and Busters up the street...saturated with kids!

I wouldn't be concerned if it was for homeless people but sex offenders...come on!!!! Why does the gov't feel the need to help these people when there are so many good people that need help!!
