NWR: Anyone work for the Post Office?

I was talking to the mailman that comes to my office and he was telling me they weren't hiring but firing instead.

I agree with lil miss Gloria. FH was called to be a mailman b/c he took the exam, and he found out they were only hiring part time and they were firing full time ppl....weird i know....

This is actually the first time they are firing because my dad worked for the USPS for 25 years and they never had firings but since now the economy is so bad they have to cut back actually anyone with 6 years or less are getting fired unfortunately. DHL, Fedex and UPS are also doing the same.

telll him to take part time!!
if he gets into a station with a lot of OT, it wont even be parttime, he will get a lot of work. FH's job title is really 'parttime' when he started and he worked 7am to at least 5pmevery single day
