OH my friend made a baked brie this past weekend that was AMAZING and so easy - buy a wheel of brie, put it in a small pan and cover it with preserves (she used raspberry) and bake for like 20-30 minutes it was seriously amazing.

You can make pigs in a blanket with hot dogs and the pillsbury crescent rolls! Also, check out the pillsbury website and they have SO many different and easy recipes!

Good luck with the party!

my favorite is ' pigs in a blanket' - peter callihan style

take pumpernickle bread and spread cream cheese over it ( very lightly)
take smoked salmon and evenly layer it across the bread
take the extra cream cheese and mix it with capers and red onions
get a cookie cutter in the shape of a pig and cut out the shapes of the bread with the salmon layered on top
take the cream cheese, caper, onion mix and put a layer just across the pigs belly area ( about 1/2 inch thick)

now you have a 'pig in a blanket'

OOh Ive had this brie thing. you can also wrap it in a pastry crust like a pie.. SOOO GOOD. I think the one I had was with black cherry preserves.
