Hi girls!! So FH and I were talking today, and I thought I'd ask everyone else.... How long are you and FH waiting before you start trying?!
We're thinking 2 years... we need a house first!

we'll prob get started pretty soon after the wedding. it's really a matter of how real a prospect the house is.

I started laughing when I read this one ! Enjoy your time together ladies before having families .... Kids are a lot of work !!!!!!! Believe me when I tell you this ... we have 4 of them !!! ..... (youngest 8 .. oldest 12).... I could lend them to you for a while ( LOLOLOL !!!!) so that you can make up your minds if you want HM babies or not !!!!!!!!! PS... this is both our second marriage

i think we decided to start trying a few months into the marriage, Ill be almost 29 and FH turning 32 when we get married....the clock is tick tick ticking for us.

depending on finances prob hm baby, fh and i have been together for a long time and our friends and fam are starting to have babies, i want them all to be friends

I already have one, he wants 2 but, I told him I might give him one . I want to wait til atleast after 1-2 yrs for money reasons.

We are planning on waiting one year. We own a condo now, but are planning on buying a bigger house the fall of 09, so like a few months after the wedding. Once we get settled in it then we will start trying.
Also because Im a teacher, and Maturnity leave at my job is so messed up, We figured that we need to get pregnant in September, October, or November so that the baby is born in the summer and I can take the first 2 months of school off...

I'd like to wait 3-4 years after we're married, i'll be 28-29, he is saying he wants a baby sooner bc he wants to be a younger dad, hes only 23 right now! he'd still be young IMO so when it happens it happens, I'm not really going to mess with anything, i'm not using bcp so... i just dont want any babies before we tie the knot! ???????????

I am in no way ready for a bady right now. I also want a few years of marriage without babies! Added to that, I am in grad school right now to become a teacher and I would need to get a teaching job and get tenure before I even thought about having a baby!

We want to be young parents, because we want to be able to run around and keep up with our kids. Plus for health reasons, it's really not good for women to wait long, it increases the risk of certain cancers. I'll be almost 25 after the wedding, and FH will be almost 30, so it's not crazy young, but not old either. God willing that we are healthy and able to conceive right away, we probably will start actively trying 6 months after the wedding, on our HM in Greece. We want to wait until after the HM since we're not taking it immediately after the wedding. Of course, if it happens before then, it happens. We'll just take baby number 1 with us to get baptized instead of a HM

LOL if it was up to FH we woulf be getting preggo right now I told him I am not going to be preggo at my wedding but hey if it happens it happens. Another child would be such a blessing to us . We are going to really try most likely right after the wedding. Only thing i'm worried about is him being deployed next year they already are talking about it I really don't want to be preggo and alone

We would like to have a house and our finances in order before we have children. With that being said, maybe 2-3 years.

we actually just talked about it this weekend. We want kids as soon as possible but we dont wanna rush it either. Probobly a year after being married we will start trying. I cant wait to be MOMMY :)

We are going to wait until I am done with my MBA and we buy a house. That would be 4-5 yrs after we are married. I dont want to rush having kids and enjoy being married and travel as much as possible. Also to be financially, emotionally and mentally ready to have kids will take some time.

I would love to have them right away since ill be 31 and FH will be 34 and we already have 15 nieces and nephews but he wants to wait....so who knows we'll have to wait and see!!
