I'm not a big fan of common names. I like names that are more orgional. Names like Dante, Domina, Helena, etc...

Re: NWR: baby names
LOL well, our girl name is on there- Emily- its been in the top 10 forever... but i don't care, i love it and its a name that grows with the kid, too... its not too 'cutesy' like some names, and fits an adult just as well as a little girl
for a boy, we're probably gonna use reid granville - reid is his dads middle name. i knew a reid in high school and just always thought it was a cool, not-too-common, masculine name. granville, obviously is a family name. its my dads name, grandpas name, great grandpas, name... LOL.. and woulda been my name if i was a boy ( thank god i wasn't!! - LOL) i i feel its only right to at least use it as our boys middle name

Re: NWR: baby names
Lucas for a boy
and Vanessa, Giselle, Olivia, Isabel for girls
I used to not like my name growing up ... but there was never a 'Justine' in any of my classes and I soon liked having an uncommon name.

Lucky you! I want my kids to have uncommon names, but not too uncommon. There were always at least 3 Jennifers in all of my classes! When I was in the 5th grade there were 6!

I love Nathaniel.
I liked the names Emma and Violet since I was a little girl. However, they have been ruined by 'Friends' and by Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. I also love Ava and Isablella. However, I don't want my children to have the same name as every other kid in their class. I'd like something a little differnt, but not too differnt.
